Jake Paul has outlined his strategy for his boxing career after his upcoming bout against Mike Tyson. The match is scheduled for July 20th at Cowboys Stadium and will be streamed live on Netflix.
The event’s fight card also features a clash between former UFC star Darren Till and former boxing champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. According to Paul, the performance of either fighter could determine his next opponent.
“They gotta make a statement, a KO…win the crowd over and so good that I see their skill and I’m impressed by them that I want to make a big fight with them happen,” Paul stated.
Chavez Jr. had previously revealed to the media that he was once offered up to $3 million to fight Paul but had declined, asking for a higher amount.
Till wants to face Paul
Meanwhile, Darren Till has openly expressed his desire to fight Paul, aiming to put an end to the trend of influencer boxing.
“If Jake Paul isn’t available, I’ll fight [Mike] Perry. I’ll fight anyone, Dillon Danis said he wants to fight me. So let’s go Dillon. Now we begin, now the journey starts. I’m going to bring influencer boxing to an end after I knock little Cesar Chavez out. I’m going to bring it all to an end, and knock every single one of them out,” Till declared, as reported by BJ Penn.
As the fight night approaches, the boxing community is keenly watching to see who will emerge victorious and potentially become Paul’s next high-profile opponent.
