Angel Reese Shuts Down Reporter With Blunt Message After Unusual Postgame Question

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has scored in double figures in each of the first four games of her WNBA career.

In the Sky’s most recent game against Connecticut on Saturday, Reese reached that mark in the first half, however, didn’t convert a field goal in the second half in an 86-82 loss to the still-undefeated Sun.

After the game, Reese was asked what might’ve contributed to her ineffective second half – and it seemed as if she was not thrilled with the way the question was asked.

“Angel, you talked pregame about wanting to put together a complete game,” the Sky rookie was asked postgame, via the Chicago State of Mind Sports YouTube page. “We saw you come out, 10 points in the first half. What was the difference maker for you in the second?”

“I took three shots and I missed three shots,” Reese replied.

“What contributed to that limitation in terms of the shot attempts and missing?”

“Next question,” Reese said.

She’s currently averaging 12.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game on the year.

The Sky will be back in action on Tuesday against the Seattle Storm.
